Pentoo
Gentoo-based live distribution for penetration testing
Pentoo has no official, structured tool listing we can auto-sync (unlike Kali, BlackArch, REMnux, and Tails). The tools below are maintained by hand and may be incomplete or outdated — check the official docs for the current tool set.

Pentoo is a security-focused live CD/USB distribution built on Gentoo Linux, aimed at users who want a pentesting tool set on top of Gentoo’s source-based, highly configurable package management rather than a Debian- or Arch-based base.
Use it only against systems you own or are explicitly authorized to test — see the disclaimer.

Getting started
Pentoo is distributed as a bootable/installable ISO built on Gentoo's source-based package system (Portage). It can run as a live USB or be installed permanently, and existing Gentoo users can add the Pentoo overlay to an existing install instead. The documentation covers both paths along with Pentoo-specific conveniences like save-state persistence for live USB sessions.
