What's changed in the catalog, computed from real commit history — not a hand-maintained log, and not one feed entry per tool (see the OS-only RSS feed for that reasoning). Tool counts are additions and removals only — every monthly sync re-stamps a "last verified" date on every tool it touches, so a raw "modified" count would just report the entire catalog as "updated" every month.
